We are 3 weeks away from SVDP Easter Food Distribution! Our food distributions help our neighbors in need to have a nice Easter dinner as well as extra food. We will again be giving families a $25 gift card to purchase their dinner meat and fresh produce. We could not make this happen without your generous good works!
Please keep our pantry list in mind as you shop in stores or online this week. Our needs are listed in order of most importance:
- Easter Candy for Children’s Baskets
- $25 Gift Cards – Walmart, Meijer, Kroger
- Cash Donations – Blue Envelopes at Church entrances
- Toilet Paper
- Shampoo
- Laundry Detergent, 50 loads
- Scalloped and Au Gratin Potatoes
- Canned Soups – Tomato, Chicken Noodle
- Jars & Cans – Spaghetti Sauce
- Spaghetti Noodles
- Pancake Mix
- Pancake Syrup
- Pudding
We realize candy is very expensive; however, if many people donate a little, we will have enough to fill the needed 100+ Children’s Easter Baskets. Thank you for helping.
We have once again been chosen by Meijer to receive the donations of their Spring Simply Give Campaign running from 3/30/25 through 6/28/25. Just as in previous campaigns, Simply Give displays will be out at each Church entrance. Please take a card from the display and take it to Meijer on 24 Mile Road and Hayes to purchase any number of $10 donations you’d like to make. You only need one card to make one or more donation purchases.
