St. Vincent de Paul update for November 17, 2024

Thanks to St. Isidore parishioners, the good work accomplished for October’s families in need are as follows:

October Cash Expenditures Report:

  • Number of people in need helped – 37
  • Number of families in need helped – 12
  • Rent paid – $2,402.00
  • Utilities paid – $175.00

October Pantry Report:

  • Number of people in need served – 185
  • Number of families in need helped – 45

Thanksgiving Distribution Report:

SVDP Thanksgiving Distribution was a huge success, thanks to people like you! We helped 43 families. We are so grateful to Fr. Ron and the parish staff for supporting our work. A big thank you to Discover Your Church, who helped support families in need with paper, soaps, and wellness items.

We also want to give a big THANK YOU to our faithful donors who:

  • Continue to bring food week after week
  • Donate wellness and paper items
  • Donate gift cards, checks and cash for our families in need of assistance

This week our pantry team replenishes supplies for our Christmas Distribution, in 4-weeks, on December 12th. SVDP needs list are in order of most importance as follows:

  • Cash Donations – Blue Envelopes at Church entrances
  • $25 Gift Cards – Walmart, Meijer, Kroger
  • Shampoo
  • Dish Soap
  • Toothpaste
  • Jars & Cans – Spaghetti Sauce
  • Boxes & Pouches – Rice Sides
  • Pasta Roni
  • Helpers – Hamburger, Tuna
  • Pouches – Mashed Potatoes
  • Scalloped or Au Gratin Potatoes
  • Canned Soup – Progresso, Tomato, Chicken Noodle
  • Crackers
  • Brownie Mix
  • Corn Muffin Mix

Meijer Simply Give continues through December 28th. Cards are at each church entrance or at Meijer checkouts, for purchase only at the Meijer store on 24 Mile Road and Hayes. Thank you for your generosity!
