“In imitation of our Master, we Christians are called to confront the poverty of our brothers and sisters, to touch it, to make it our own and to take steps to alleviate it”. – Pope Francis
How does your gift transform lives? Perhaps the gift is your time, financial consideration, food donation, or other generous ways. Our lives are all linked together and when we help someone, we do not know how that one action has affected their life. One of our neighbor’s in need expresses their gratitude, “Your generosity has meant the world to me. All of you have touched my heart and encouraged me to keep going and not give up.” May we always display new ways and the gentleness of charity in the service to our neighbors.
