FINAL RESULTS
THANK YOU. These are two words that are not used often enough in our daily lives but should be a part of everyone’s vocabulary, regardless of age or experience. For those of you who attended our 3 day festival in June and supported us in any way, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who consumed any of our food, beverages and desserts, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who participated in our Theme Raffle, Main Raffle or 50/50 Raffle, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who enjoyed our outdoor grill, Taco Bar dinner, Pasta dinner and Polish dinner, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who indulged in any of our fresh strawberry pies and desserts, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who sponsored or donated anything through our Strawberry Patch, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who volunteered and shared your time, talents and treasures, we say THANK YOU. For those of you who might not have been able to attend but instead prayed for 3 days of sunshine and great weather, we owe you a big THANK YOU.
With all of these THANK YOUs in place, we are very happy and pleased to announce that the 2026 St Isidore Strawberry Festival broke all of our parish records once again with gross revenue at just above $200,000 and net revenue after expenses coming in at just under $98,000. Never in the history of our parish have we accomplished these numbers. Again, if it wasn’t for all of you, none of this would have been possible. We owe all of you, the entire parish and the surrounding community a big THANK YOU. We look forward to another great year in 2027 when we celebrate our 70th parish anniversary.
HELP WANTED
In order to host and execute our 3 day festival, please know that it takes all kinds of volunteers and Coordinators to make it happen. As the members of our Strawberry Festival Committee (SFC) continues to get older, we need to start the process of replenishing our leadership talent and find new Coordinators to work with and learn from those who have many years of experience. To be more specific, right now we are in need of an External Operations Coordinator and Kids Activities Coordinator. If you are at least 18 years of age and are interested in learning more about what it takes to be a Coordinator for our festival, please reach out via cell phone or text to Mike Fontana @ 248-224-5583 or via email @ mfontana31@gmail.com
We typically host a monthly meeting including all Coordinators to review new ideas and discuss our plan to execute. Meetings are typically no longer than a couple of hours so as to not take up a lot of your time. As we get closer to the festival, we will walk through the entire event and make sure we have all of our bases covered and have the necessary volunteers in place to execute our plan and ensure all of our guests have a great time.
THANK YOU again for all of your continued prayers, participation and support. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
