Strawberry Festival Talent Show

Pretty much anything! Here are the types of acts we’ve had in the past

• Singers
• Dancers
• Comedians
• Pianists (digital piano provided)
• Other instrumentalists (guitars, trumpets, etc.)
• Magicians
• Rubik’s Cubes

All acts must be under 3:30. If your act exceeds the limit, you will need to shorten it or it will stopped your act at the 3:30 mark during your performance.

We only have one hour of time and want to accommodate  as many acts as possible.

We hold auditions for a few reasons including:

• Ensuring acts are appropriate for the Festival
• Ensuring acts are under the 3-minute time limit
• Ensuring that performers are comfortable performing in front of a crowd

With all acts being under 3 minutes, we are able to accommodate up to 18-20 acts.

The top prize is $100. There are also additional prizes. In the past years we’ve had general 2nd and 3rd place prizes as well as prizes based on best act in a category (singing, dancing, & other). Prizes will be determined based on the type and number of acts admitted after auditions.

We have three guest judges that represent different areas of talent. These judges collectively determine the winners. Note that talent goes beyond just the skill (singing, dancing, etc.). Judges are looking for stage presence, personality, and engagement with the audience as well.
