Thank you, St. Isidore. We asked for donations of hats, scarfs, gloves and socks, and you knocked our socks off with your response. We began our collection on December 7 and ended on December 16. In nine days you donated eight bags of cold weather clothing to be distributed to the homeless in downtown Detroit.
The staff and volunteers of the Pope Francis Center are ever so grateful for your generosity and expression of love for God’s Holy People. All of us as well, Fr. Ron, Fr. Matt and our entire staff thank you for “turning on the Light” for those who see only despair, loneliness and homelessness. May God extend His Love and Blessing to you and your families.
