We are saddened at the death on July 28 of Carol Sienkowski, the wife of Deacon Mark Sienkowski. Carol is also the mother of Bryan, Laura, and Justin, and grandmother of four. Her obituary reads in part: “Carol was a humble, approachable woman who loved to sit and chat with anyone. She married the love of her life on October 10, 1984. A devoted Mother, she left her teaching profession to focus on her greatest treasure, her children. A strong and faithful woman, she faced her long struggle with scleroderma with dignity, grace, and unwavering hope. She was a loving, supportive wife whose deep faith sustained her and (Deacon Mark) as they walked together through his diaconate journey.” Carol’s funeral liturgy was celebrated on August 8 at St. Lawrence Parish.
