Cracks in the Foundation

Day 27

“But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.”

Isaiah 59:2

Maybe it’s not a distraction that has affected your relationship with the Lord, but rather that your relationship has been fractured through sin. When we sin or hurt someone else, we fracture our relationship with God. Sins are things within our control. We must be in tune with the things we do and remember to see what God sees. We have been given the Sacrament of Reconciliation to help heal these fractures with the Lord.
