Get prepared to act on what’s happening

Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Advent

Today’s gospel is Luke’s account of the birth of John the Baptist in Luke’s gospel. The people assumed his name would be Zachariah, but Elizabeth named him John which shocked people because there was no John in the family. John means, “God has blest us,”

“They placed these things in their heart.” They knew something significant happened and they were prepared to act on it.

Fr. Ron encourages us to reflect more on the great events that have happened and then prepare to act on them in the coming year.
