How to truly consume God’s Word
Friday of the 33rd Week in Ordinary Time
In today’s gospel, people were hanging on Jesus’ every word. They were listening with open hearts.
We are called to consume the Word of God to unite ourselves with God’s consciousness. It can be a great joy to hear God’s word, but it should cause us to speak out for justice and peace, and challenge others around us which can be a challenge.
Let us listen to God’s Word, consume it and make it a part of who we are.
