The role of every Christian Community

Tuesday after Epiphany

In today’s homily, Fr. Ron reflects on what the responsibility of every Christian community and therefor every person in them through the story in today’s gospel of the multiplication of the loaves and fish.

Lots of people travel a very far distance just to hear Jesus preach. So what motivates people today to seek the Lord? Jesus first teaches and then out of compassion he feeds them.

These should be acts of every Christian community.
It is not enough to just preach to others, but rather reach out and serve the social and material needs of others as well.
