This is what we need to have eternal life

Wednesday in the Second Week of Easter

For God so loved the world
God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.

Fr. Ron reflects on this popular quote from today’s Gospel, and how God’s plan is for all of us to be saved and none condemned. The resurrection that we celebrate in Easter sheds new light on that plan.

If Jesus remained dead, we would all be in darkness, but by his resurrection, we have new life again. It shows that God wants all of us to have eternal life. However, we must embrace the love of God and allow it to transform our lives.
