This is why being a troublemaker can be a good thing

Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent

Fr. Ron shares why it can sometimes be ok to be a troublemaker. He says that this is the kind of trouble that John Lewis, the senator from Georgia, called “good trouble,” during the race riots for civil rights.

In today’s readings, both Jeremiah and Jesus get themselves into trouble by challenging the authorities. These troublemakers are able to do that because God is on their side.

Psalm: “In my distress I called upon the Lord, and he heard my voice.

What kind of “trouble” can you get today knowing that God is on your side?
