Chris has lived in Michigan his entire life. He grew up in Rochester Hills and attended University of Detroit Jesuit High School, where he was ingrained with the passion for serving others. After graduating from U of D, he enrolled at Oakland University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance. Throughout high school and college, Chris worked part time at St. Andrew Church in Rochester, MI, it is here that he truly began to love the Church. After a brief run as a mortgage broker, he returned to the Church by serving as Youth Minister at St. Mary of the Hills. He has served in that community for the past 20 years as Youth Minister, Facilities Director and Business Manager. In July 2016, he left the role of Business Manager at St. Mary’s to serve as the Business Manager at St. Hugo of the Hills in Bloomfield Hills. He is honored with his new opportunity, serving as the Business Manager close to home, here at St. Isidore.
Chris and his wife Sabrina, have three children. The Kozlowski family has lived in Macomb Township for more than 17 years where their children attend local schools. In his free time, Chris loves to visit with friends and family and to do anything physical, from exercising, to going on bike rides, to playing basketball. Chris has participated in a lectionary based bible study for many years and he loves to read, something he inherited from his mother; reading as many as 50 books a year. Favorite authors include Matthew Kelly, Patrick Lencioni, John Grisham, and any author that makes him a better employee, friend, husband and father.
Chris’ truest passion, other than being a husband and father, is serving the Church. He has felt honored in each of his almost 30 years of serving the Catholic Church of Detroit. He loves talking about his faith and our Church. Over the past few years he has presented many various topics to different groups. His favorite opportunities to present have been titled Being a Catholic Man in Today’s World, Walking the Talk of our Faith, and Utilizing Your Talents. He is inspired to join St. Isidore’s parish staff and looks forward to working with the community of St. Isidore and the Parish Leadership Team to continue to point St. Isidore in new and exciting directions.
