Even in these difficult times, the people of St. Isidore responded generously. Nine hundred fifty Giving Tree envelopes were placed on the Giving Trees and three hundred ninety were returned. Thank you to those who returned them. No gift is ever too small or too large.
This year, we were able to help seventy-seven adults and one hundred-eight children as well as helping Nativity Church, St. Paul Warming Ctr., Baby Pantry, SVDP, St. Aloysius Church, Mary’s Children and St. Maximillian.
I can tell you from a personal perspective, the families were very grateful for the gift cards that enabled them to buy Christmas gifts and supplies for their children. There were many tears and hugs. This is what makes this program so rewarding.
