Deacon Jeff was ordained a permeant deacon of the Archdiocese of Detroit on October 6th, 2018.
He currently work as an insurance coordinator for a kidney dialysis company and also is a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Jeff and his wife, Connie have been parishioners at Saint Paul of Tarsus in Clinton Township for the last 8 years before joining St. Isidore. Connie is a Head Start teacher for Macomb County. She was a catechist for the children’s liturgy of the word and has worked as a Level 1 Section Head with the St. Paul of Tarsus religious education program. Connie began teaching in religious education as a teenager at St. Isidore.
Jeff and Connie were married at St. Isidore’s in 2007. They do not have and children but do have a Westie, named Sebastian.
Deacon Jeff and Connie moved to Florida for a job opportunity and in 2010 but returned to Michigan after a reorganization of the company. It was during this time that Jeff began to feel a calling from the Holy Spirit. He resisted it for a few years, but after much prayer and discernment realized his call to the permanent diaconate.
