Fr. Ron’s Ramblings 18-12-23

Mr. Matt Hunt, who has served as our Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Isidore for the past year, recently left  our Pastoral staff to serve as Pastoral Associate at St. John and Paul parish in Washington, Michigan.  We are very grateful to Matt for his dedicated ministry to our young people.  Matt also stepped forward to help out in other areas of ministry, including the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, teaching sixth grade Faith Formation class, and serving in liturgical ministries.  Matt was also part of our Connecting Point team.  You may recall some of the reflections he has written on the Connecting Points.  Please keep Matt, his wife Sarah, and daughter Cecelia in your prayers as he continues to serve the Church.
We are very much committed to our Youth Ministry at St. Isidore.  Mrs. Julie Rarick, who served as Youth Minster to our Middle High students for many years, has offered to return to that ministry for the remainder of the year.  We are very grateful to Julie  In regards to the High School Youth ministry, Mrs. Ann Derey, our Director of Faith formation, who served as our Coordinator of Youth Ministry prior to serving in her present position, and Mr. Chris Kozlowski, our Business Manager who has served as Coordinator of Youth Ministry at St. Mary of the Hills parish in Rochester Hills for twenty years, have volunteered to coordinate our High School Youth Ministry program through the remainder of the year.  Parishioner Mrs. Beth Beebe will be assisting them.  We are grateful for their willingness to add this responsibility to the many demanding responsibilities on our Parish Staff  The young people of our parish will continue to be well served!
We are looking forward to celebrating nor only Christmas Day with you, but the entire Christmas Season with its many bright feasts.  This year, the Christmas Season goes until the Feast of the Baptism of Lord on January 13.
Have a Blessed Christmas Season!
