Fr. Ron’s Ramblings 7/29/18

I am really looking forward to Vacation Bible School this week! Our creative and talented Faith Formation
Team and Vacation Bible School Team make this week both a lot of fun for our young people and a great opportunity for them to grow in their faith. We thank everyone who donated snack foods and other supplies for VBS, those who lead VBS, and all who assist them.

A reminder that Eucharistic Exposition is every Tuesday, beginning after the 8:00 AM Mass and ending with Benediction at 6:00 PM. Prayer in the presence of the exposed Blessed Sacrament is, for many people, an experience of greater union with the Risen Christ, and a source of great blessing. We encourage you to stop by for a visit, even if it is just for a few minutes. In addition, we are looking for parishioners to commit themselves to “adore” for a certain hour every Tuesday, assuring that there is always someone present in the “chapel.”

If you would like to make such a commitment please let me know, or see the article elsewhere in this bulletin.
I see that the “Back to School” sales and displays are in full force in the media and in our stores! I trust that this has been a great summer for our young people, and that they are anxious to get back to school! I know that I cannot wait for our Religious Formation Program to start up again. This place is a bit too lonely without our children and Catechists!
Blessings,
Fr. Ron Victor
