Today on Pentecost Sunday the Holy Spirit is poured out to all! Empowering us to serve others. SVDP is dedicated to serving needy individuals and families. It is only through our parishioners help that we are able to do this. It is not the amount of cash or food that someone gives that is important, it is the love of neighbor that is behind the giving that means the most.
Please remember to keep the pantry in mind as you shop at stores or online. Our pantry needs are:
- Cash Donations – Blue Envelopes at Church entrances
- $25 Gift Cards – Walmart, Meijer, Kroger
- Laundry Soap – 50 Loads or More
- Dish Soap
- Shampoo
- Pump Hand Soap
- Peanut Butter
- Helpers – Hamburger, Tuna
- Canned – Chili
- Canned – Mixed Vegetables
- Pancake Mix
- Pancake Syrup
- Corn Muffin Mix
- Jello
Our SVDP members would like to share this important reminder! Meijer Simply Give Double Match Day is this week Saturday, June 14th. We encourage everyone to donate and make a significant impact for the pantry. Simply Give cards are located at each church entrance, to be taken to Meijers on 24 Mile Road and Hayes for purchase. Every $10 donated will turn into $30 for our pantry, only on this day! Your generosity is very appreciated. Thank you!
