“Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.” – St. Therese of Lisieux
When we get to the foundation and heart of things, and we look deeply into another person’s life, their problems, their hopes, their dreams, or their experiences, we take the time to walk in their shoes. Then we might find empathy for others less fortunate, especially when it comes to their basic needs in life. You might wonder how can I help? Some people may provide aid or bequest, or donate food, or clothing, or help to pay struggling neighbor’s home rent, utilities, repairs, and other basic needs. These kind acts of love can alleviate what the poor experience. If you wish, please think and reflect on the needs of the poor.
