How the Light comes

Monday after Epiphany

In today’s first homily of the new year, Fr. Ron reminds us of the Christmas season lasting through Sunday and of our Christmas theme of “Turn on the Light.” Today’s reading is a good reminder of the Light.

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”

In today’s gospel, Jesus begins his public ministry. He is the light that has come into our darkness. Sometimes it’s hard to discern the light of Christ and where it is.
