The Knights of Columbus annually purchase and donate cases of coats for kids. Our council typically donates the coats to schools.
This year we donated ten cases of coats to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. In addition, we donated two cases of toddler coats to the St. Isidore Baby Pantry. These were coats that the Vacation Bible School families raised money for and gave to the K of C.
Please know that some of the money raised through your support and attendance at our events during the year contributed to the purchase of these coats. Shown holding some of the coats are Pat Schmeiser, from the St. Isidore Baby Pantry, the K of C Grand Knight Patrick Lang and Dawn Ormsby, the St. Isidore Formation Coordinator. In addition, the Grand Knight is presenting the coats to Brother Tien Dinh at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen facility.
